Default Concept class: The Martialist

THE MARTIAL ARTIST

The name pretty much says it all. This class is a hand-to-hand fighter designed with some
interaction whilst performing that role.
Its damage comes in many forms. From regular attacks which are boosted by its Primary attribute.
Like an inverse Divine favor, if you will. This damage bonus also adds to attack skills as well.
After regular attacks the Martial artist can achieve more devastating effects with skills related to
either using their Fists or thei feet in any manner of Kicks.
These attack skills seldom add damage directly in the form of +XX damage, but instead allow the
class to perfom multiple attacks against a foe thus also multiplying the damage.
With two types of skills that require a previous succesful attack to be able to be activated,
this class can at will unleahs even more chaos and mayhem upon the battlefield.

All in all, just a dribble I threw together. Again, all credits go to someone else I'm sure.


The Attributes


KICKS
No inherent effect. Skills related to causing harm upon your enemies with your feet become more
effective with higher ranks in this attribute. Increases you chance to score a critical hit with Kicks.

FISTS
No inherent effect. Skills related to causing harm upon your enemies with your hands become more
effective with higher ranks in this attribute. Increases you chance to score a critical hit with Fists.

FLUENCY (Primary)
Increases your attack speed by 1% in hand-to-hand and unarmed combat per attribute point.
Increases the damage you deal with un-armed attacks by 1.2 per attribute point.

STYLES
No inherent effect. Skills related to improving your combat performance become more effective with
higher ranks in this attribute.

Damage: 11-24, 30-43, 36.5 average, 24.8 DPS
Att.speed: 1.75, 1.47



Fists and Kicks explained:

A Martialist uses knucklebraces on his fists. These deal piercing damage or blunt damage
depending on type. They come with various modifications.

Kicks are performed with the feet. A Martialist wears shoes designed to accomplish this task.

When performing regular attacks a Martialist has a 33% chance for each attack to be a Kick.


Styles and Finishers explained:

A Style functions like a stance. A Style however can stack with a stance.

Finishers are quick attacks or skills that either can be executed after a succesful attack
or that are activated before and then produce an effect afterwards.

There are two types of Finishers. Active and Passive. Passive finishers are known as Bindings.
These are used beforehand and their effect activate upon a succesful attack against any foe.
Passive finishers become active after ANY unarmed or hand-to-hand attack.

Active finishers are known simply as Finishers. These become available to be activated after
a succesful attack against a foe. You have a three second frame during which you must activate
an Active finisher. An Active finisher can only be used against the same foe as the preceding attack.
Active finishers become usable only after ANY unarmed or hand-to-hand Attack SKILL.

FISTS


Shameful fist
5 EN X SEC 8 SEC FIST ATTACK
Strike at target foe twice and disable one skill for that foe for 1..3..5 seconds.
55 damage


Guided fist
10 EN X SEC 15 SEC FIST ATTACK
Strike at target foe twice. The first hit cannot be blocked or evaded and the second interrupts
that foe.
55 damage


Lion's fist
5 EN X SEC 15 SEC ELITE FIST ATTACK
Target foe takes 15..45..65 damage and you hit that foe once. If this attack hits, target foe is Exhausted.
92.5 damage


Repeating fist
10 EN X SEC 12 SEC FIST ATTACK
If this attack hits, target foe is struck once for each Enchantment on that foe.
(Maximum 4 times = 110 damage).


Retreating fist
10 EN X SEC 15 SEC FIST ATTACK
If this attack hits an attacking foe, that foe is knocked down and your next attack deals +5..15..25 damage for 8 seconds.
27.5 and 52.5 damage


Hidden fist
5 EN X SEC 8 SEC FIST ATTACK
Strike at target foe once. After 1 second you hit that foe again and that foe loses one Enchantment.
55 damage


Vital fist
10 EN X SEC 12 SEC FIST ATTACK
Strike twice at target foe. The first hit interrupts that foe
and the second causes that foe to not be able to attack for 2..4..5 seconds.
55 damage


Lying fist
5 EN X SEC 15 SEC FIST ATTACK
This attack has a 5%..45%..75% chance to miss. If it misses, target foe is knocked down.
If it hits, that foe takes 25..55..75 damage.
27.5 or 75 damage


Sealed fist
5 EN X SEC 5 SEC FIST ATTACK
This attack strikes at target foe for +1..10..15 damage if it hits.
If that foe was Hexed, this attack cannot be blocked or evaded.
42.5 damage


Reaching fist
10 EN X SEC 12 SEC FIST ATTACK
Target foe becomes Dazed for 1..3..5 seconds if this attack hits
and you strike at one additional foe adjacent to target foe.
27.5 damage per foe


Veiled fist
10 EN X SEC 10 SEC FIST ATTACK
If this attack hits a knocked down foe, you strike at that foe three times.
If it hits a foe suffering from Blindness that foe is knocked down instead.
82.5 or 27.5 damage


Orchid fist
10 EN X SEC 10 SEC ELITE FIST ATTACK
Strike at target foe two times.
The first hit Blinds that foe for 1..7..9 seconds and your second hit Dazes that foe for 1..3..5 seconds.
55.5 damage E


Rending fist
5 EN X SEC 3 SEC FIST ATTACK
If this attack hits, target foe begins bleeding for 5..11..17 seconds.
27.5 damage


Heavy fists
10 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC BINDINGS
For 20 seconds, after each of your next 3 succesful attacks against a foe, that foe is knocked down.
The same foe can only be affected every 6 seconds.


Leeching fist
5 EN 1/4 SEC 10 SEC FINISHER
If you perform this Finisher within 3 seconds of a succesful attack against target foe,
you steal up to 12..34..45 health from that foe.


Flaming fist
5 EN 1/4 SEC 12 SEC FINISHER
If you perfom this Finisher within 3 seconds of a succesful attack against target foe,
that foe is set on fire for 1..3..4 seconds.


Banded fists
10 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC BINDINGS
For 20 seconds, after each of your next 3 succesful attacks against an Enchanted foe,
that foe is Dazed for 1..3..4 seconds. The same foe can only be affected every 6 seconds.


Fist of Healing
5 EN 1/4 SEC 15 SEC FINISHER
If you perform this Finisher within 3 seconds of a succesful attack against target foe,
you gain 32..46..62 health.


Jade fist
10 EN 1/4 SEC 15 SEC FINISHER
If you perform this Finisher within 3 seconds of a succesful attack against target foe,
that foe loses 2 Enchantments.


Glowing fist
5 EN 1/4 SEC 15 SEC ELITE FINISHER
If you perform this Finisher within 3 seconds of a succesful attack against target foe,
and if that foe is on fire, you gain 3..10..14 energy and lose one Hex.


Painful fists
10 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC BINDINGS
For 20 seconds, after each of your next 3 succesful attacks against a foe, that foe experiences
-2 health degeneration if suffering from Bleeding for 10 seconds. The same foe can only be affected every 6 seconds.


Lotus fist
5 EN 1/4 SEC 8 SEC ELITE FINISHER
If you perform this Finisher within 3 seconds of a succesful attack against target foe,
that foe's spells and attack skills are disabled for 1..2..4 seconds.

Savage kick

Kick target foe dealing +5..12..16 damage and interrupting that foe.

Seeking kick
10 EN X SEC 15 SEC KICK ATTACK
Kick target foe knocking that foe down. This attack cannot be blocked or evaded.
36.5 damage


Reeling kick
10 EN X SEC 8 SEC KICK ATTACK
Kick target foe and one adjacent foe for +8..16..21 damage if this attack hits.
57.5 damage per foe


Leaping kick
5 EN X SEC 15 SEC KICK ATTACK
Perform a Leaping kick to target adjacent foe's location. If target foe was moving, that foe is knocked down.
If this attack hits a stationary foe, you deal +10..18..24 damage.
60.5 damage


Wearing kick
10 EN X SEC 20 SEC KICK ATTACK
Kick hard at target foe.
If this attack hits, that foe loses 1..4..7 energy and your next attack deals +5..17..25 damage.
36.5 and 61.5 damage


Disabling kick
10 EN X SEC 15 SEC KICK ATTACK
Target foe takes 21..36..47 damage and has one skill disabled for 2..5..7 seconds.
36.5 damage


Zaishen kick
5 EN X SEC 12 SEC KICK ATTACK
Target foe loses one Enchantment and you lose one Hex if this attack hits.
36.5 damage


Winged kick
15 EN X SEC 10 SEC ELITE KICK ATTACK
Kick target foe twice within two seconds.
Your first kick Dazes that foe for 1..3..5 seconds and your second kick causes Bleeding for 3..8..15 seconds.
73 damage


Double kick
15 EN X SEC 10 SEC KICK ATTACK
Kick target foe twice in rapid succession.
Your second kick deals +7..16..24 additional damage if it hits an Enchanted foe.
73 damage or 97 damage


Viscious kick
10 EN 1 SEC 15 SEC FINISHER
If you perform this Finisher within 5 seconds of a succesful attack against target foe,
this kick deals +6..14..18 damage to that foe.


Light kick
10 EN 1 SEC 15 SEC FINISHER
If you perform this Finisher within 5 seconds of a succesful attack against target foe,
target foe becomes Crippled for 3..7..11 seconds.


Bending kicks
10 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC BINDINGS
For 20 seconds, after each of your next 5 successful attacks against a foe using Signet, that foe is interrupted.
The same foe can only be affected every 6 seconds.


Rounding kick
10 EN 1 SEC 15 SEC FINISHER
If you perform this Finisher within 5 seconds of a succesful attack against target foe,
up to three foes adjacent to that foe take 15..45..65 damage.


Heavied kicks
10 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC BINDINGS
For 20 seconds, after each of your next 5 succesful attacks against a foe using skills, that foe is knocked down.
The same foe can only be affected every 6 seconds.


Lifting kicks
10 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC ELITE BINDINGS
For 20 seconds, after each of your next 5 succesful attacks against a foe, that foe loses one Enchantment
and 2..4..6 energy if an Enchantment was lost this way. The same foe can only be affected every 6 seconds.

Guided style

For 10 seconds your attacks have a 1%..33%..54% chance to not be blocked.


Hasteful style
5 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC STYLE
For 10 seconds you move 1%..15%..25% faster.


Cunning style
10 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC STYLE
For 10 seconds your attacks have a 4%..31%..45% increased chance to critical.


Flowing style
5 EN 0 SEC 20 SEC STYLE
For 10 seconds you have a 2%..33%..45% chance to evade regular attacks made against you.


Wild style
15 EN 0 SEC 20 SEC STYLE
For 10 seconds your attacks cause Bleeding for 6..11..16 seconds and Cripple foes for 1..5..8 seconds.


Savage style
10 EN 0 SEC 20 SEC ELITE STYLE
For 10 seconds your attacks interrupt foes using skills
and Exhausted foes hit by your attacks become Dazed for 1..6..8 seconds.


Radiant style
10 EN 0 SEC 20 SEC STYLE
For 10 seconds your attacks Blind attacking foes for 3..8..10 seconds.


Heating style
10 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC STYLE
For 10 seconds your attacks have a 2%..37%..52% chance to set their target ablaze for 1..3..3 seconds.


Wearing style
10 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC STYLE
For 3..9..10 seconds your attacks cause their target to lose 1 energy.


Disobedient style
10 EN 0 SEC 30 SEC STYLE
For 10 seconds whenever you are hit with an attack or a hostile spell,
you have a 1%..12%..20% chance to become immune to damage for 0..1..2 seconds.


Spirited style
10 EN 0 SEC 20 SEC STYLE
For 10 seconds if you are in the presence of a Spirit,
your attacks deal +3..12..15 damage and an additional +2..6..9 damage to Hexed foes.


Amassing style
5 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC STYLE
For 10 seconds you attack 25% slower but when this Style ends, your next 5 attacks deal +8..18..30 damage.


Harvesting style
10 EN 0 SEC 20 SEC STYLE
For 10 seconds whenever you deal damage fatal to a foe, you gain 36..78..92 health.


Jousting style
15 EN 0 SEC 20 SEC STYLE
For 3..9..10 seconds your next attacks have 25% armor penetration.

Flowing energies

After 8 seconds you gain 4..15..21 energy.


Focused mind
10 EN 0 SEC 25 SEC SKILL
For 1..8..12 seconds your Attack skills cannot be interrupted or disabled.


Finishing flow

All your non-Elite Finishers are recharged.

come up with some more creative names, instead of just ___ kick and ___ punch. I use a thesaurus when i come up with skills, otherwise it seems pretty cool, would up the armor to 80 though.

i dont think this is very creativ, it would be fun to play but its just like the sin except all pysical
